I finally upgraded my cookware a few months ago from my old standby Paul Dean non-stick set to the beautiful Calaphlon Tri-Ply Set. So beautiful, so shiny, so fancy. What I didn’t realize is that when food sticks it leaves marks, dark ugly marks that cling for life on the pan. I tried multiple methods of cleaning but none get EVERYTHING off. Until this.
This pan actually isn’t too bad right now but we’ll use it as a demonstration anyways.
The star of this show! Bar Keepers Friend. I purchased at Walmart, for about $3.00.
Squeeze into your pan and scrub around a little with either a brush like this one or a sponge. Let it sit for a few minutes with it being more thick of the tougher marks. After letting it sit scrub with your brush or sponge until it comes off. It doesn’t take much. Rinse and wash with dish soap.
